Tell us who you are professionally and personally.
My name is Eden Gershon , I was born and raised in Tel Aviv , Israel. I am a yoga teacher, therapist, living part time in Santa Teresa/Costa Rica . I travel a lot to teach yoga around the world: leading retreats / workshops, going back every year to India to learn for my teachers . I am so thankful for my lifestyle – my business and pleasure – i love to surf ! That’s one of the reasons that I choose to live in Costa Rica big part of the year , I love spending time in nature and the rest with friends and family.
When do you feel most empowered?
I feel mostly empowered when I’m teaching , especially after spending a few days/weeks/ with a group of people , get to know one another on a deep level of openness, that share the same passion for life , wishing to grow, learn , love together and as an individual.
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure (life’s all about balance after all!)?
My guilty pleasure would be – food ! I love food and enjoy it so very much it’s like a meditation to me when I’m eating – I try to eat healthy normally but sometimes if I’m craving something like chocolate or anything like that I’m enjoy every bite of it , sending my body and brain loving vibes while I’m eating so it cannot do me no harm (if it’s not too much obviously) so eat whatever you want as long as you enjoy it don’t stress about it and make yourself feel bad after.
What is your advice for other women?
My advice for women would be to truly follow your dreams , find out what it is that light your soul and make you passionate about life , and go for it completely all the way ! Don’t let anyone or anything stop you , take your own advice, only what servers your greatest good.
Who is you female hero and what character traits do you take on from them?
My hero is my mother – I cannot express into words what she means to me and how much she made me the woman I am today , her and her mother ,my grandmother the most amazing women I could ask for ,always believed in me gave me wings to fly high she inspires me always to be my highest best version of myself.
